Suicide Squad 2016 (8 out of 10)
Suicide Squad 2016 turned out to be a not-so family-friendly blockbuster film for the summer.
Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn steals the whole movie, and Will Smith as Deadshot holds his own. By far the best thing about this movie are the characters and the way each character is introduced. Also, the soundtrack is fantastic and really makes this movie shine.
However, what starts out as a really cool movie with some of the coolest characters in the DC universe, blows it in the end. Once the story actually begins, the movie starts to fall apart, ending with a big flop for the finale.
Even though the whole cast is made up of villains, you will soon find yourself rooting for them to take down the bad guy. In this case, the main villain is a witch and she’s more bizarre than evil, with no redeeming qualities whatsoever.
Suicide Squad the movie has a lot of holes in the plot towards the end of the film, but I don’t want to give away any spoilers so I’ll just leave it at that. Even so, I have to give the film 8 out of 10, simply because of the cool factor.
